AREA OVERVIEW
The Treasure Valley
The Treasure Valley is one of the fastest-growing regions in the country, spanning Ada and Canyon Counties across southwestern Idaho. Its major cities, Boise, Meridian, Nampa, Caldwell, and Eagle, form a connected corridor of commerce, retail, and residential growth along the Boise River. Smaller communities including Kuna, Star, Middleton, and Garden City round out a region that continues to attract new residents and businesses at a remarkable pace.
Anchored by Boise's role as Idaho's capital city and economic hub, the valley offers a rare combination of urban amenity and outdoor access. The Boise Foothills, Owyhee Mountains, and Snake River define the landscape and give residents year-round recreation within minutes of the metro core.
